APE introduces it's new "Pro Series" manual cam tensioner for the BMW S 1000 RR. The manual tensioner allows for precise cam timing, and the positive elimination of the auto tensioner backing out under sudden throttle closure which could result in engine damage.
Used by Jeremy Toye in all of their Lee's Performance road racing bikes.
This, first in the "pro Series" line of APE manual cam chain tensioners is being offered at an introductory price of $79.95. Part# BT1000-P. It is available direct from APE, or from all leading performance parts dealers.

Looks good Jay.
What makes this one a "Pro series" ?

not sure how much throwing around of Jeremy Toye's name i would do either. if your sponsoring them Jay, you may look a little closer at what type of people they are and what type of business they do.
Nice looking part BTW

Thanks.
They were the ones that helped us develope this part. They sent us everything we needed to R&D, including a head, etc. They ran the first tensioner in Macau.

Can you give us the run down on how easy it is to adjust the APE manual cam chain tensioners again. Lots of people are afraid of them because they don't know how to adjust them.
