cam setup

Guys i,m looking into building a motor of either 1363-1397 with anywhere from 12-13:1 compression.I have always heard that low lift flow improvements are good yet i read dark falcon mention that can or does increase reversion on overlap.I,m looking for a motor to have stock or better torque from 3000 and to run to stock redline. My thoughts were that if i did do the heads for gas velocity for good throttle response and low lift flow and ran a camshaft combination a bit wider apart eg 104/106-7 this would minimise the overlap period and not kill bottom end.I,ve heard this would give a broad torque curve but not a particularly high peak number.I,m looking for approx 110ft/lbs from approx 6-9500rpm as i do go to the drags but love busa torque down low on the street as well. What do you guys think? Thanks
