Now with the shorter Canadian Mike swingarm (0 - 6") for street use.  :thumb:

I think this was my last ride this year.
Winter is comming :(

I will be on the Dyno tomorrow.
I'm curious about it.

Not this bike Charly.
This is my all day street bike.
Bought a cheap 2. Busa and got very nice used parts from members of this board  :thumb:
Longer swingarm, 2" oilpan, MTC Clutch ......
The new bike would be street legal in the US, but not here in Germany.
So youre right, its a dragbike for SSB.

Hey Mike, you mentioned your HP was in metric so I assume 324PS is in NM?  How does that convert to SAE corrected HP? (like what we Americans use...)  Just curious if its the same or not.... your turbo kit is making very similar power to mine.  I made 317@17lbs...... but I stick to 15lbs for our 93 oct. pump gas and its around 295-300hp.  RCC stg 2 kit....

PS means hp, dont't know how SAE corrected hp differ to wheel hp measured by the dyno here. NM means torque in metric Newton/Meter. Nm x 0,74 = ft/lbs. So 301 NM should be approx. 225 ft/lbs.

Sorry Alan. You are right. This is an US board and I should have use the correct semantics.
238 PS is about 319 HP. Ive found a calculator in the net.
The 319 hp were at 18psi of boost (normally).
But the boost gauge was reeling up and down between 10 and 15 psi  :?

@ J.OE: Thanks Jürgen for the torque calculation :thumb:

Yeah I hear ya.....my boost gauge reads one thing, my LM1 reads another, and my MT2 reads a different number all together.

SO I assume you are running the 19lbs on pump gas since you guys have 98 octane over there.....320hp on a daily rider must be a blast.... I can't wait to get mine on a real dyno...the last dyno I was on was a total joke.  I want to get it on JOhnny Cheeses DJ250i with some big fans on it and really play with the boost.  Its tuned pretty good to 15lbs, after that its WAY rich.  I want to turn it up enough to break 400rwhp... I figure it will take 26-27lbs to do it on my turd.  More importantly, I want to make an honest 300hp on pump gas(15lbs).

Good job on yours Mike!  Post up more pics when you can... :thumb:

Hi Alan

What type of turbo do you have bolted up ? 27 lbs are way much for making 400 hp.

Alan, you are right. The max boost is 18psi on 98 US octaine (100 octaine ROZ).
My internals are all stock. Rods, pistons, main studs etc.
And over 300hp is a lot on the street in my opinion.

@ Joe
What is the max boost I could ride with my small turbo and your boost controller (theoretical ) ?

Hi Mike

Well, the compressor map of the 16T says that it can make max. 23 psi.
And if you turn the switch of 6th gear fo position "F", there should occur approx. 23 psi. :thumb:

Generally: It doesn't depend on the turbo, how much boost the controller is going to adjust. This only depends on boost controller and wastegate.
... provided that the turbo can make the pressure and deliver the air flow.

Jürgen

Thanks for the info Jürgen. 18psi is enought for my engine setup. For sure !!!

@ ACE 23
As you can see on the race pics, Ive used an underbraced swingarm 3 - 9" from Canadian Mike.
Set on 5-6" over, dependent on the rear wheel sprocket.

The shorter swingarm (you can see it at the newer pics) is 0-6" over. Set on max. 4" for the street.
Furthermore is the Busa a little bit higher for the nice curves in my home area. :D

The tail is from catalyst and 4" longer.
Hope,I was able to help.

Thanks for the help. That bike is badass, I'm on the fence on whether to paint mine "07 black, 07 blue, or dodge viper red" I love all 3 colors and I'm having a real hard time deciding, i see alot of black bikes on the board but I don't see many solid red and blue
