Sounds like you need a bigger hammer Mike! :D

I have no clue how to remove it. Sorry...

OK Cory !
It was late yesterday.
I will try it again after work with my good old "Harley Tools".
Hammer, bigger hammer, very big hammer.

It has already lost

Got the stock bearing for my bigger driveshaft yesterday.
Damn 109€ that is 140$ ish. Incl. 20% off.  :grn:

So I was able to reassemble the tranny.

left: stock driveshaft    right: bigger output shaft

I'm not 100% sure either.
But I think it's when you replace the keepers in between the gears with heavy duty snap rings.

I don't know how much you really need it or how much it really helps, I just heard someone mention it to me before...

That is a good new information for me.  :thumb:
No, Ive not installed the heavy duty snap rings.
Only a new bearing, bigger output shaft and some shift shafts.

Hope, I can reassemble the engine this weekend.
Im late

I made a big mistake yesterday.
Used the wrong assy lube for the rod and crank bearings. :duh:
I disassembled the complete engine again and did the same work twice today.
But everything is OK now.

Here is the progress:

New crower rods and heavy duty cylinder studs
