  I still can't believe it. Dave O will be soooo missed ,as a friend & in the Industry. Again God Bless DaveO.   RIP  !!!!!!

My eyes and heart still hurt.  I can't take anymore heartbreak.  I have to unsubscribe to this thread.  For those who never knew Dave, you really missed out on meeting a one of a kind man.  I hope this thread has helped you know a little bit more of him.  I know I will NEVER forget him.  Goodbye DaveO.

Hi, Im a friend of josh and the owen family. Ive been reading this forum sense i heard of dave's accident. I have the information for where josh, jake, and lauren live . If anyone is looking to send cards or anything, PM me and i will give you such information

I still can't speak of Dave without crying, but I am so happy to see how many of you LOVED him so much.

Has anyone heard from Brock Davidson, Dave was very close to him and spoke to me often about Brock.  I want to call him, but still can't speak about it, I hope he is doing OK.

I wish this Sunday was not the first time I will get to meet Josh.........  This saddens me beyond belief..........

Brock has posted on this board in another thread. He's back in town and planning to be at the services. This of course has him busy catching up from being gone & getting ready to leave again. He's been in contact with the family. (and I hope he doesn't mind me speaking for him since I know he's busy)

Rest in peace Dave and thanks for all your help in drag and land speed racing. Dave O is the most talented engine guy I've ever met and would take the time to give you the RIGHT information. I'll miss ya.

I meet Dave at new england dragway. He was good at anything he did He could drag race  he was also a great road race guy he could kneedrag his bike and set land speed records. But he was doing what he loved and he was a great rider .You will be missed by all.

DAMN...i went onto Brock's site to get info on ordering a pipe for a customer and wham..saw the "memorial" pic. I didn't know Dave but no doubt he was an inspirational person in the motorcycle world.

My condolences to one and all reading this.. especially those that have met and known DaveO... but even moreso to those that didn't.
Those that knew him are the lucky ones.. those that met or knew his family and his love for Lauren, Josh and Jakie are the most fortunate of all.
For those that didn't know him or his ways.... when you next meet a guy or gal that helps you for no good reason.... know that you just met a person that
most likley is getting some kind of influence in their life from Dave or someone very much like him... and don't forget to pass it on, and when you do feel free to say "Don't thank me, thank Dave O" afterwards.
 
Lauren, Josh, Jake & Tim... looking forward to seeing you all tommorow (we're in nowhere New Jersey right now).

just found out...

spoke to Dave just two weeks or so ago... Flew him over to California to tune my bike about a year ago! He is the most special, super nice and cool person i have met in my life!
I will alsways remember him, not just by my bike, but by the person i met!

RIP Dave, i will see you in the next life!
