I've been as fast as 8.32 @171 on my best pass ever, but run 8.40-50's consistently.
stage 1 turbo, multistage lockup, 64-66in.

Eddie is definately fast, for a lightweight  I'm 300# in race gear and with a stage one Velocity on a stock motor,10# boost  at 66" I went 8.91in the 1/4 and 5.80 in the 1/8th and Bandr was there out running my ass. I just ordered new rods and pistons so I can freshen my motor this winter, I'm gonna run bigger injectors and and more boost and hopefully get in the mid eights, that was also my first night with a new swingarm and new tire, this is a daily ridden bike that I put 1,196 miles in 2 days on it  going to Arkansas

you could go mid 8's with your current set up, you were going faster every pass. you were riding the hell out of that bike.

Fatn slow
You have enough power to run the number. Add the gear for your weight and leave at a higher rpm. I used to leave a 8500 and then pin the throttle slipping the clutch and had to go to 2 gear before I was done slipping. That was working but a friend told me to just let it go once you feel the bike pick up speed and shift to second if it want to wheelie but keep her pinned. I tried it and it works. Im not explaining this well as I could show a person but a bike and a horese is silmilar if you dont turn it a loose it wont run fast!!!

thanks fastone, i dont think i have enough power though, i try to get to full throttle as soon as i can, im not on the clutch to long. i dont know how the bikes going to act with the lockup, never rode a bike with one, im going to put the clutch in thursday night and be ready for sat. i wont have time to practice or nothing. i usually leave at between 7500-8000, and as i release the clutch i screw the throttle on, i would be really happy if it runs some 9.20s. if i get some video maybe someone can tell me how to post it and tell me what im doing wrong, its not from a lack of trying i can say that. i do know my 60ft sucks, cant seem to get that down, i dont have alot of passes on the bike either, its been parked more than anything.

No I haven't.... After the Tx mile, I am gonna put some dog bones on the 1000 and start practicing on it....I want to try that track in Sealy, supposedly you can make as many runs as you want and it hooks pretty good..... HRP is just too crowded these days....I can't knock the rust off my riding with a 1hr wait in between runs.  I would like to get some 9.50s out of the stock motor, stock arm 01 1000.....(keep in mind I am an aspiring Heavy hitter)   :D

Man you have your bike FLYING......that is an awesome 1/8....  My best 1/8 mph on the busa was also 129mph but I was WAY lighter then you back then....my 60', 330' was no where near yours..... you are riding the fuck outta that bike....

well tried the stock 2 pc clutch hub and 60ft's sucked...either stood up or bogged... 60fts were 1.68-1.80's..with a brand new clutch pack...chg's back to the welded mod that night and went to the track the next day and 1st pass off the trailer was a 1.45 60ft. think ill leave it there for now..... maybe a lock-up in the future.

well tried the stock 2 pc clutch hub and 60ft's sucked...either stood up or bogged... 60fts were 1.68-1.80's..with a brand new clutch pack...chg's back to the welded mod that night and went to the track the next day and 1st pass off the trailer was a 1.45 60ft. think ill leave it there for now..... maybe a lock-up in the future.

Damn I'm suprised your shit ain't slippin on the big end with the welded hub....  either way, do whats workin for ya..... did you put the clutch cushion stuff from the 03 later models in there also when you went to the 2pc hub?  Just curious.....  I would be ecstatic with 1.45s though....now you just need to put some more power in it to carry your big ass.....you're riding it as close to perfect as you can with no lock up, no boost controller and a bunch of weight to pull.... :thumb:

its all stock clutch including the little crush springs ect. i havent ran the 1/4 mile with it yet but cant feel it slipping... trying to keep it down somewhat since its all stock,no spacer, and running the green spring,s2000 and c-16. scared of a lock-up ...seems everyone has hell setting them up! i have very little patience for stuff like that.. might try the blue spring  next.

well i got the clutch figured out better, have a friend helping me with the clutch. found the problem with the bike and now its making some power. my best 60ft was a 1.54 but the bike wouldnt shift 2nd. best pass was a 1.61 60ft a 5.94 @ 128 mph 1/8 and a 9.06 @ 158 mph 1/4. im 333lbs suited running just a 6lb spring, im really happy and feel sure i can run 8,s on 6 lbs of boost.
