so to be running 8.50s on a stg 1 kit, stock motor, no lock up, no boost controller etc is insane.....

Yeah in theory it definetly should....yet most people at the strip with stg 1s(and 2s for that matter) and normal street bike setups struggle to go 8.90s....He is going way faster then most of the average street turbo guys with a lot less stuff on the bike. Just getting it done with skill.
