They are for the crank pickup.
Any day on a motorcycle like this that ends just needing parts and labor is a good day.

You can still use the pc without the crank reference if you still want to use the bike , just have no timing control  but the fuel mapping side of things works as usuall

Yeah, I  will probably go with a PCIII since the bike is already mapped and I don't know how to use anything else (yet).

Thanks again, I was almost going to rebuild the FMU after listening to a few other guys but you made me think about it again this morning. I was also thinking it was electrical because of the randomness of building pressure and all of the mechanical parts of the fuel system being fairly new. I wasn't really sure how the fuel system worked............but I do now.  :D

Time to order a PCIII and a new big CCA battery. HOPEFULLY the next time you hear from me is to say everything is fine. Going on vacation tomorrow but will order parts before I leave. Take care, thanks to all.

Really? You're saying just hook up the main PCII connector and keep the smaller connector to stock, correct? I guess if I haven't used the the timing control yet then I probably won't miss it, correct?

What about just changing out the ECU?

If I had an extra ecu I'd at least try it.

I'm going to see how it starts when I get back from vacation. If I still think the bike should be starting a little quicker I have a few more sensors I can check.

If I can't find a bad sensor then I may have to look at buying an ecu.
