Gen 1 start up trouble.
« on: December 22, 2019, 06:22:15 PM »
Hayabusa folks, tech question, Gen 1 bike has spark and fuel pump working with good fuel pressure, no codes, but no injector signal. Swapped ecu and tip over, no change. Ohmed out crank sensor and it is the same as my running bike?? Ideas??

Dang, you nailed it,Bob! Thought with a good strong charger and a so-so battery I would be good. It had 13 til ya hit the starter, even with a 30 amp charger it dumped to 8. Cranked fine but not enough juice to fire the injectors, . Add in an 044 sucking more juice----
Good battery and starts as it should!

Is Greg out working the fires? I know he lost equipment several years ago.

A few days in the expected fire path helping a family member prepare Mike
cooler weather and light showers has reduced the threat short term, but expected to flare up again late in the week
