Gen 3s appear to actually have more hp than gen 2s
« on: June 27, 2021, 02:45:52 PM »
Fresh out of the crate back to back 100% stock dyno reading, the gen 3 shows higher hp and torque than the gen 2. I own a gen 2… this hurts 😀.
RCC turbos rock!!! Rcc- Ultra plenum, case saver, Carillo rods, Wossner pistons, APE springs/tool steel shift shafts, Ferrara valves, ARP studs, lightened and balanced crank, Boostbysmith ecu editor, AMS 1000 with CO2, 475 hp. Mac arm 0-6 over, BST carbon fiber rims. Someday I'm goin' fast!

Just a couple more across the rpm range. RCC dynod a new gen3, no mods. He also dynod a gen 2 brand new when it was new. No mods, out of the crate.
So odd the factory numbers indicated lower park hp?

2nd gear roll on confirm my 50k mile Gen 2 (full yoshi and a tune) is quite a bit faster than my bone stock Gen 3. Hope an exhaust wakes it up.
