Congrats.  8)

I know about Salt on the roads.  :x

PS. Flip your rear axle around, so that the castle nut is on the other side.

Otherwise when you are cornering hard, or hit a dip in the road, the suspension can compress enough for the axle nut to hit the exhaust canister.     :o

How was the fit on the windscreen? Approximately how thick is it?

Damn it Steel
Was startin wonder on completion date
Almost about to come up there :P

Looks incredible
Got the Akro waiting
Tho my dealer screwed up PU couldn't tell him which model had the lambda connection for the O2 sensor
They sent the one that didn't!!
Now I'm waiting to find out if Akro sells the midpipe separately?
I'm just glad I'm not eating the cost of the extra pipe

I would say I feel for ya on the salt
But mine's been apart since the week before Thanksgiving
And I'm more anxious than a smoker quitting his 1st week
Can't stand waiting on parts

BTW what rearset is that?
Looks nicer than my Vortex!!

GOOD JOB 8)

2 things Steel,

1. take a dremal and clean up that undertail :) 2. if you ever set your sag in the rear you will have to reset it. Massive wieght change in the rear of the bike and you will notice it.

Bike looks really good, glad you finnaly got it done  :joker:

Steel.

I'm not happy with the way they setup the brake mount. that offset looks a little tackey.  also have you had a chance to test ride?  when you set the shifter make sure the kickstand is up. I'm 5'10 and trying to find that right shift position isn't easy.

So let me know how it works for you.    but yes I love the look of the rear set.

I must say your bike looks sweet with the new add on's

I bought the Power Bronze Rainbow Iridium windscreen form Charles at Street and Track, I love it. Also Ford has a recall on the Crown Vic's exhaust shielding. they cut out the old piece an install the new material. Thin material works great.

Damn...I bought one of the light smoke Powerbronze screens today(after checking out this thread) but since I didn't see it on Charles's site I went somewhere else. I guess I'll call next time. It was spur of the moment though.

I am 6'2" and wear a size 12 boot!!! I did set it with the kickstand up, but the pics I posted were before I adjusted them!! If you are referring to the clearance between the shift lever and the kickstand? then yes it is tight, but I found a comfortable position with mine!!! do you have your rearsets as far back and up as they will go? this is how I have mine, you might solve your problem by moving them forward a notch, for me they work where they are at!!! As far as looking tacky? that is not the reason why I bought them!! :P
