Bar risers
« on: October 29, 2002, 03:39:00 PM »
I know there are people here that have installed bar risers.  Gen-mar, Heli-bars and the Reaper risers.  What my question is did anyone also lenghten there brake lines?  The choke cable you have to move but are the brake lines okay?  Also do the master cylinder or clutch resvior hit the fairing?
What are the benefits/disadavtages of each brand bar risers?

FSTOUR, I installed the genmar 1 1/4 inch, never had to lengthen anything. Made the bike way more comfortable for me.

 - no messing with lines\cables or anything
 - comfortable
 - can't really tell they are there
